Elba Benítez Gallery opened in Madrid in the spring of 1990. Since then it has been continuously engaged in the advancement of contemporary art in Spain. It has also been actively committed to promoting, at the international level, both Spanish and non-Spanish artists. The Gallery's work has focused on cutting-edge works, especially in media such as photography, video, and installation. Throughout its development, it has increasingly specialized in the production and exhibition of installations conceived specifically for its space. Along with the conventional activities of an art gallery, Galería Elba Benítez is currently involved in the design and development of projects that explore innovative perspectives for the intervention of artists in other disciplines, other media, and other institutions
